Unusual and very stylish, a great interesting place with gorgeous food
Just behind the famous Gellert Baths, there is a brand new open air garden restaurant, which seems to be fresh and ambitious. We went to the bath, and after that we went to Pagony to sit under the sun and have a great lunch. The style is like the bath itself, old-fashioned bathhouse style. As we found out, this was the kids garden and pool and they turned it into a gastropub. The place has very fair prices for super quality dishes (unlike the bath) and have great selection of famous Hungarian wines. Next day we went back, because we took a tour to the liberty statue and it seemed pretty close to us as well.
