Built in 2000
This building is in Quai François Mitterrand, it was built in 2000 and was designed by architect Jean Nouvel. Its lines are based on the idea of visibility and monumentality and to get to there you have to go to the island of Nantes. The scene is quite impressive since besides the solemnity of the building, the palace is surrounded by a garden of ashes (as opposed to the metal building representing Nantes industrial past).
