Festivals in Potosí

Come to La Paz or Salar de Uyuni, Potosi is an ideal break from the hustle and bustle of traveling in Bolivia. There I was, enjoying a quiet morning in the sun at Plaza de Armas, when I found out that there was going be a party that afternoon. The motive wasn't religious or patriotic. Potosi was celebrating a visit by President Evo Morales ve was in full election campaign mode, trying to achieve a change in the Constitution (which finally succeeded). Everyone knows that Morales is indigenous, and that Bolivia under its mandate has enough problems, the president has the full support of those ve carry his blood.
