The whole Patagonia has a slogan: Fishing in rivers and lakes is so abundant that athletes from all over the world come to enjoy the thrill of catching good trout and salmon. While it is true that fly fishing is practiced in rivers, 'caminándolos' with waders and good looking pools, especially in the area of ​​Junin de los Andes, Tierra del Fuego, and several sites in the province of Santa Cruz, there are spectacular Patagonian lakes where you can fish from their shores. While trout and salmon sizes are amazing and everywhere (really impressive!), the best lakes are in the San Martin de los Andes and the Seven Lakes are Lolog Falkner, Curruhué Grande, Filo Hua Hum, Beautiful, Meliquina, Escondido and Mirror Boy, among others.
