Patton Square, which is just north of the Avranches city center, has its own special monument: a massive spine that's erected skyward in tribute to General Patton who was one of the heroes of World War II who participated in the liberation of place. The tank, historical piece, participates in the reminder, in a square completely rebuilt after the bombings of the war. Well, for the hungry, a pizza pretty good in this square!
