Peace Church

The Church of Peace is in the town of Daimiel (in Ciudad Real). It dates from the sixteenth century and was rebuilt during the Baroque period. The Church of Peace with the adjoining convent belonged to the Discalced Carmelites then the Carmelite nuns. Its facade has rectangular flat door with the shield of the order and a window that illuminates the choir. Inside the grounds is a Latin cross is without side chapels and the transept is covered with a dome.
