Peacock Island

If you're tired of touring the city of Berlin, you can enjoy one of its many parks. Specifically I recommend Pfauneninsel, which means the Island of the Peacocks, now a nature reserve. It houses a palace built by Frederick William II for his mistress Countess Lichtenau. You can also enjoy the peacocks in an idyllic setting surrounded by water.
