Pelmeni Bar

This is a great restaurant specializing in pelmenis, ravioli (fried or boiled) stuffed with various ingredients and served with sauces. They have an English menu and the waiters speak some English. It's in a great location in the center of St. Petersburg. Actually, to be exact, it's at Gorokhovaya Ulitsa, 3, beside Isaac's Cathedral and the Admiralty. Our dinner consisted of two house salads (very good, but small) and a pelmeni plate for each of us. They brought us 4 plates of fried pelmenis, 2 boiled, and 1 bowl of sesame-battered chicken. The best dishes were the fried pelmenis stuffed with meat (mixture of pork and lamb) garnished with a barbecue sauce, although both the boiled pelmenis and the chicken dish were a hit.
