1 review of Pierre Deimier Park

Pierre Deimier Park

This small park is dedicated to the poet Pierre de Deimier. He was born in Avignon and lived from 1580 to 1618. The garden is a small Mediterranean area, pleasant with its olive trees and benches in the shade. It is in front of a beautiful building, the livree Ceccano, a palace built for the cardinal Ceccano. It now serves as the city's public library. There is a bust of King Henry IV of France. It is a fairly quiet because you pass no traffic on the street in front
