Worth a visit
Blumenau is a city full of charm and fascinating tourist points. Ponte Aldo Pereira de Andrade is one of these places. Built on the river Itajá, for many years it was used to transport food and goods from Itajá to Blumenau. Nowadays, it connects the city center with Ponte district. The bridge is more than 300 meters long and 18 meters high. It was built with materials from Germany and inaugurated in the 30's.
