Port of the Tyne

The separation between South and North Shields is due to the entrance of river Tyne, navigable until just over to Newcastle, and it there becomes the port of Tyne, which is convenient for business (as most important English port are in the north) and tourists, even though there are two daily ferries between this port and the port of Amsterdam. The areas surrounding the harbor have lovely beaches, dunes, monuments, but I wanted to highlight the connection between the two countries, and I've come to see that it is not all that known and I think it's interesting to plan trips that are a bit different, such as this one.
