Pristine coastline

The Calanques are a series of coves in the south of France. There are in a large natural park called Parc Naturel des Calanques, which covers more than 20 miles of pristine coastline between Marseille and Cassis. You can go from either city to walk around this beautiful park, between two cliffs, there is a beautiful cove with white sand and clear water. Yes, the water is usually fresh and perfect for people who just traveled a couple of hours to reach them. The Calanque Port Pin is one of the closest to Cassis. You can reach it in less than an hour away. Don't forget your water and sunscreen since it's a natural park and they don't sell things there.

bay views

One of the many beaches between Marseille and Cassis, the Port entrance is gorgeous! It offers a view of the bay of Marseille and Cassis cliffs. It allows for some rest and tranquility and blocks the wind (relatively calm for a summer weekend). The water is very clear ... In short, it's a great place to see, like the entrance of Port Miou!
