Port Uamh Beathaig

Taking the B8035 road along the west coast of the island of Mull, one of the kids needed to answer a call of nature, so we stopped by a kind of bay or rocky beach. And it's a good thing we did! The landscape is beautiful, with a strong contrast of colors: the clear blue sea is really something out of the ordinary, and the mountains and sky are gorgeous. The clouds were thin, creating a different kind of light ... we were so taken by it that we took a walk by the sea and enjoyed the tranquility, disturbed by nothing more than birds and a seal making mischief. Just perfect.

Research later told me that this was, many many years ago, a haven for fishermen, as the bay creates natural protection against the roughness of the sea.
