Praça Conde de Agrolongo

This huge square is the end of Rúa dos Capelistas. It seemed fairly new, mostly concrete, with several ornamental fountains and some garden space but also has a children's play area. Due to the slope of the street the square is partly underground, there are a few cafes and bars with terraces for a drink, as well as underground parking. The square is surrounded by buildings, mainly houses, although on one side is the Ibis hotel next to the Chapel of El Salvador (former convent) and Lar Agrolongo do Conde, which gives name to this square. In the background is the Church and Convento do Pópulo.
