Pratunam Market

Pratunam is a huge market west of Bangkok. It's open on weekends and you'll see all the souvenirs and clothing you can imagine. Most of the clothes are knockoffs, and you usually can't take them to Europe or they'll be confiscated. I was traveling in the area for over a year, so I took advantage of the super low prices knowing these would be the only ones I would have in Asia. What if you could bring back fabrics, tablecloths, napkins, decorative items like lamps, wooden objects (hence why you have to be careful that the wood isn't a protected species), and other things? There are also many electronics stores, at prices lower than in Europe, but look at the guarantee they offer carefully, and wherever you have to take your camera or MP3 player will get ruined back home.
