The Pueblo Grande Museum (Phoenix) was opened in February 1981, and aims to bring people who are interested in the conservation and preservation of Arizona's prehistoric heritage together. The River Valley and Pueblo Grande Museum Archaeological Park, a National Historic Landmark, offers a unique opportunity to learn about and enjoy the prehistoric culture of the Valley of the Sun, as well as the cultures that came to the area later.
