1 review of Elie Port

A beautiful little town

One of the most scenic spots in the village of Elie, on the east coast of Scotland, is the area known as Earlsferry that includes the beach, the harbor, the historic lighthouse and the modern lighthouse. There is no natural or artificial separation between the beach and the port, which is a kind of L-shaped breakwater. Today it is used purely for sporting purposes, but the structure suggests that there may have been a port here in ancient times. The views here are simple but striking, and it's a beautiful little town.
