Octay Harbor

A village located on the shores of Lake Llanquihue, in a bay protected by Sentinel península, a place with beautiful natural surroundings and architecture (houses in the style of German settlers), 55 kilometers from Osorno and 25 from Frutillar . Octay Harbor is characterized by buildings of the late nineteenth century (the first ones from 1852) built by German settlers around the lake. In the city you can visit the Parish Church dating from 1911 and the building of the old school of nuns, built in 1913. In Hope Street you can visit the Casa de la Cultura Emilio Held Winckler where you can see a collection of historical documents and photographs of settlers in the area.
