Quinta Real Oaxaca

This beautiful hotel is located in the very centre of the city of Oaxaca, in a colonial building dating back to the sixteenth century - what was once the Convent of Santa Catarina. For two centuries it was occupied by the nuns, but in 1962, the reform laws led to it becoming government offices. It was built in the Spanish colonial style, and there are still a number of paintings from that era hanging on the walls of the restaurant or in different parts of the hotel, where they can be admired by guests. The rooms are beautifully decorated in the colonial style, and there's a spacious restaurant that provides excellent service.

Oaxaca is one of the most beautiful capitals in Mexico, recognized as the most Mexican city of the Republic. Its wide variety of markets in nearby towns make Oaxaca a cultural and shopping paradise. The hotel has 4 meeting rooms with modern facilities. Two of them are situated in the inside of the chapel and can hold up to 600 people. The courtyard has a pool and gardens, and is a perfect to host evening events.
