Ride Camel at Timanfaya

One of the best known touristic attractions in Lanzarote is the camel ride along the Timanfaya National Park. Even though after the ride you might be a bit sore because of the rocking of the camel and the uncomfortable seat, the truth is that I wouldn’t mind doing it again, to see again this wonderful park, which looks like a lunar landscape.

The route is not too long, and once you finish, the excursion continues with the entrance to the National Park. From the peaks, the guides usually show the temperatures, which can reach 400 degrees, only a few centimeters away from the ground.

To demonstrate it, they throw water to the pipes so that you can see the vapor come out; they fry an egg; they throw hay and it immediately becomes a ball of fire, and many other things that surprise the visitors.

Without a doubt, the place shows you that you are in one of those unique places of the planet, and if on top of everything you are riding a camel, then everything becomes very special.

The experience, photo included, is about 12 Euros, but it is worth it. I remember the camel ride and the terrifying views of the sleeping volcanoes, with its black and reddish tones. It is, without a doubt, a corner that I really recommend.

After the guided bus visit around the Timanfaya National Park, there is nothing touristier, but also fun, the dromedary ride that you can get for 12 Euros, for two, with photo included.

A good experience.

300 camels chained to each other and muzzled and kept in a kneeling position for hours on end so tourists can have fun for 30 minutes! Then the camels are walked for miles and miles back to a holding shed where they are kept most probably in the same chained positions? Chained and muzzled!!

Big bucks are made out of these unfortunate animals E 4000 for each stint that's if the camels are only ridden once a day!!

So in 2016 this is how we humans have fun! Once they chained and muzzled humans! How would you like to be chained and muzzled for fun?
