Rifugio Lagoni

Four of the cento laghi.

To reach Rifugio Lagoni by car follow signs for Bosco and Lagdei then turn left at "cancelli" and continue along the forestry road for 4kms. The rifugio offers overnight accommodation, rustic lunches, homemade cakes, somewhat lethal fruit liqueurs and a fine display of taxidermy.

From the Rifugio with 5 hours to spare you can make a fine circuit including four of the Parco Cento Laghi lakes and the summit of Monte Matto. From the carpark turn back down the forestry road for 10mins and then turn left onto the 719 path. After the bridge and a steep uphill section turn onto the 715 which passes into a lovely secret valley.
