Rise Above is an all-vegan restaurant and bakery in downtown St. Catharines, Ontario. The restaurant itself is incredibly charming with a real vintage feel. There are comfortable chairs with a bookshelf at the front of the restaurant, beckoning you to stay a while. The restaurant itself has several tables, each decorated tastefully with a flower inside a vase. The walls of the restaurant showcase local artwork that is available for purchase. The food itself is vegan takes on comfort food at its finest. I ordered the "TLT" sandwich: tofu, lettuce and tomato, with a side of ooey-gooey mushroom mac'n'cheese.
