Osteria la Gensola

I will make a culinary suggestion you're sure to like. This is the Ristorante La Gensola, located in the charming Trastevere district of Rome. It is a small restaurant, homely and unpretentious, very typical of the Mediterranean. Small tables with white tablecloths and beautiful views of Trastevere. We chose the tasting menu, which was about 30 euros per person, but I think the quality of the dishes very well justified the amount. As far as I can remember, we were served a delicious salad of salted, stuffed calamari, flavoursome fresh pasta, and chocolate dessert, a wonderful white wine, bread and water.
