1 review of Rohan Square

Beautiful

In the Middle Ages the Rohan square was built next to the cathedral by a archbishop Rohan. In the west facade we can still see remains of these foundations. Mériadec Archbishop of Rohan in 1771 decided to demolish this building. He built the Rohan Palace, which is today the city council. It's a nice open space, which has a skating rink in the holiday season. The square links the Bonie siblings street with the old part of the city, a pedestrian area with many shops and restaurants. You have to come one night when everything is lit, newly renovated, just beautiful.
