San Antonio

Great

Luces is a lovely village, located two kilometers from Lastres and known mainly because it is home to Lastres lighthouse. During June, the village celebrates the feast of San Antonio. The chapel in honor of this saint is located in the neighborhood of Palmián. It was built in 1850 and restored in 2004. Mass is held outside due to the small size of the chapel. After mass, dining tables are placed in the village and everybody brings tortillas, pies, sausages and other delicacies. There are a variety of spectacular cakes of all kinds. Everything is shared with everyone.
