San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA

While seemingly expensive, the San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA does a great job to add value for the money you spend. More of a resort/activity campground, they have a great swimming pool, rock climbing wall, petting zoo, fantastic playground, banana car rentals, and activities for kids during the summer. Some sites are better than others, and we prefer the back in sites closer to the camping/tent area and smaller playground. More grass and tress and the sites seem a bit more spaced out. They have cabins for rent, full hook-up sites, as well as tent sites. Only about a 45 minute drive (depending
