Santa Barbara High

This viewpoint is in the "Alto de Santa Barbara", so called because it is directly in front of the small Chapel of Santa Barbara, on top of a promontory. Access is signposted and you can leave your car in the street of the Parish Church, which is a few steps away. From this viewpoint there are spectacular views of the Arrival of the Duero to the Spanish side, and the fields, mostly fruit trees, olive trees and vineyards. Also you can see fragments of the now defunct castle walls, and some abandoned buildings.
