Santa Cruz

The city of Santa Cruz is on the west coast of the United States, just south of San Francisco, and is accessible by bus from San Jose. This coast offers beautiful beaches for walking, swimming and surfing (actually, major competitions are held here from time to time). Obviously, there are many hotels and a hostel, many restaurants of all kinds, a couple of central shopping streets, a couple of theatres, and even an amusement park with roller coasters! It provides an interesting time for anyone who wants to enjoy the relaxation of a small town before moving south to Los Angeles or north to San Francisco.
