Sarrance ( Aspe Valley)

1 review of Sarrance ( Aspe Valley)

Surrounded by Meadows

Set in a flatter area than the Aspe Valley and surrounded by meadows, the beautiful Sarrance, which was an important centre of Marian devotion in the Middle Ages, seems to be a town-museum. It has its cobbled streets, old stone houses, the cemetery, the fountain, and its small monastery, its cloisters dates back to the seventeenth century. The village is without doubt one of the loveliest you will find in the valley. Unlike Lescun, Borce and Aydius, Sarrance has some restaurants and bars which offer a great amount of charm.
