1 review of Tustumena Ferry

Two main ferries

This ferry is one of the two main ferries that travels to Kodiak. The Tustumena came into operation in 1963 and is still the most used. It holds 211 people and 36 vehicles. There is a restaurant and bar on board and also bunks for people to sleep for the 9 to 13 hours that the voyage might take to travel between Kodiak and Homer. The other ports where the Tustemena bunks are in Port Lions, Seward, Seldovia, Chignik, Sand Point, King Cove, Cold Bay, False Pass, Akutan, and Dutch Harbour.
