Pekin is a small town just 30 minutes from Puerto La Cruz. It's magnificent for adventure tourism. The entire road is lined with waters fed by natural springs. The people are warm and very kind. Nearby there's an inn called "Milk and Honey" which is a perfect place to rest. I recommend taking a walk at least two days, but any less and you won't enjoy the scenery. There are small pools of sulfurous waters that are a delight. Dare yourself to get more information.
