St. John the Baptist Parish

It was built between 1770 and 1789 on a small pre-existing wooden church, and it was built with the help of neighbors. At the time, it was located in downtown Archena, but is now elevated above the surrounding houses. It is a baroque church I is still unfinished as the twin tower wasn't built.
