Streets of Göreme

Göreme is a magical place. Located about 70 kilometers west of Kayseri, this small town is nestled between high chimneys, majestic stones and houses carved into the rock. In the background, are the great valleys of the Rose, Honey and Paloma, ideal for hiking. Anything that is said about this town does not do it justice. The effect that this place has on you is indescribable. Suddenly the colors change, everything becomes calm, the lights in the windows make tiny holes in the rock, the wind becomes colder and there is a peaceful silence. It is the whole atmosphere that makes this town so special, full of rock-cut inns and delicious Turkish pizza restaurants.
