Taizé

Taizé is a small french town and community,in the region of Burgundy, Saone-et-Loire department in the district of Macon. Very close to the Swiss border. I'm privileged to enjoy peace of mind in this beautiful place. Formed by extensive plains, fields of sunflowers and humid forests its 175 inhabitants lead a tranquil life with healthy habits but this figure is doubled, tripled, quadrupled .... in summer. Thousands of young and not so young people who come from all four corners of the earth to this simple place to experience peace and inner search. The "community of Brother Roger" is in Taizé.
