Tamul Falls

At 105 meters tall, this is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Mexico. The turquoise color is simply irresistible!

On reaching the village of Tanchachin you can easily find or they find you, rafters who offer to take you upriver on a journey through a beautiful place called the cave of water where you can swim is kind of cenote, to the foot of the waterfall in approximately three hours. When the tour agreed with the rafters finishes they will offer you a meal at one of their homes, and to live with them until evening falls and then return to Ciudad Valles, worth it.

Ahhh yes...paddling two hours upstream against a mighty current is totally WORTH IT for the amazing scenery. It goes from desert to jungle, forest to city, all in San Luis Potosi.
