High-quality performances
Built by Emilio Jover at the end of the 19th century, and reformed during the second half of the 20th century, the interior acoustics are the most impressive thing about this theater. The visibility is good in almost all of the points, but it leave something to be desired in the side balconies. However, the performance companies that come to town already known this, and stay as central as possible on the stage to assure everyone has a good view.
It lies in the center of Alicante, which can be seen during a pleasant stroll through the old quarters. Although the city is hot, it’s always fresh and cool inside the theater, even when full.
