Nuestra Señora

Located in one corner of the square of Guadalajara, is one of the most historically important churches of the city. With its Baroque facade, construction was completed in 1721. It boasts a unique nave with pictures that illustrate the apparitions of Our Lady of Mercy.

Excellent

Founded in 1650 and completed in 1721. Baroque facade, with a semicircular arch door with two Tuscan pilasters fluted on each side. In its second body are three niches flanked by four pilasters of Doric order, where the central niche I as the image of our Lady of Mercy.

Its interior is made up of a single nave with a Latin cross plan. Enormous paintings hang from its walls, illustrating passages of the apparitions and miracles of the Virgin of Mercy.

The main altarpiece is a beautiful carving of Cypress wood and houses the sculptures of the Virgin and child in the center.
