Black Lagoon in Bolivia
This lagoon is not included in the traditional 3 day/2 night itineraries on offer at the Salar de Uyuni. We saw it because the driver gave us a little extra, taking us to some spaces a little further from the resort. If you have the opportunity, go! It is beautiful, full of black ducks. Bolivians joke that the ducks like to laugh at the tourists - and indeed, they do make a funny noise that closely resembles human laughter. Unfortunately, I have no idea where exactly it's located, but I think it's close to the border with Chile. The driver told us it was called Laguna Negra.
