The Brune Tower

This tower was built in the thirteenth century and has been used for several purposes. It served as a jail for archbishops, a safe, arsenal, and even a prison, until the Revolution. Then it was used as a water reservoir for the army, and once again as a prison. Today, it has become a museum landscape Ecrins National Park. It is worth visiting this tower, especially because of the view offered from the top of the surrounding mountains.
