The Dehesas

The meadows of Cercedilla is the ideal place for nature lovers. It's an area that's very close to Cercedilla, just 5 minutes away by car, but if you walk it'll take you much longer, just follow the road. The best thing about this area is that it has a very large picnic area and large places where you can play. Also, you can go on hiking trails that vary in difficulty. Among them are: The Roman road that goes to Fuenfría, etc. There's also a parking area when you first enter, but it could be full at any time. In fact, the only drawback of the meadows is that it usually gets pretty crowded when the weather's good, but still less than Navacerrada and Cotos, so I recommend it.
