The Duke

We went to Duke to celebrate New Year's. We arrived early enough so the place wasn't too full yet. This bar has a small upstairs room, but the atmosphere is below. At the bar they prepare incredible cocktails, Mai Tais, Cosmopolitans, etc, but they also offer some original creations. It's a bit pricey at £ 6.50 a cocktail, but it is a normal price around here. The bar is just behind the famous Oxford shopping street, so the pubs and restaurants in the area are usually pricier. The staff was very pleasant, we even stayed at the bar for a chat, the bartenders are from all around the world, each with his own recipe for a delicious cocktail.
