Hidden Pharmacy Center
The apothecary in Silos Abbey is one of the last rooms that can be seen on a guided tour of this fascinating building. This magical 18th century drug center may from the time of the ceramics from Talavera de la Reina with pharmacy products of the time, as well as some interesting books on alchemy and medicine that is kept in a small library. In the pharmacy we can see copies of Aristotle's Physics, and Ptolemy's Treaties. Also, don't miss the section of scales, pots and stuffed animals.
