The Skala Street

Skala street is siutated at a lower level to Skala, the oceanfront area that houses Portuguese cannons. On this street, one can find two hotels, a cinema, and a few shops. They are open a little later than the shops in the market because they are typical souvenir shops. You must always negotiate prices, even a little. Usually, they advertise three times what they want and you can usually buy at half of the first price that they ask. If you pretend you're going, then they call you back and if you seem disinterested, they do more to convince you.
