A very old building
The tower is located downstairs in the main square of Sibiu Huet, and is one of the oldest buildings in the city. On the ground floor, it opens onto the medieval town square, where you will find the city market and some nice restaurants. The tower dates from 1542, though it was adapted and restored in 1863. It has one level, and below a walkway that leads to the stairs of the lower city. There is another road that circles the old fortified wall of Sibiu. Pasajul Scarilo, the passage of the stairs, runs up Turnului, Tower Street.
