Varsity (closed)

The Varsity is a pub on King's Road, a seaside street in Brighton. It does not have sea views but after a walk on the promenade, it is a nice place to go for a drink. It's a great pub, with a good atmosphere on game days thanks to the big screens. The place is pretty cheap and greets students at the University of Brighton throughout the year. Cocktails cost about £3.50 to £4.50, and you can order shots for £1.50. The sandwiches are £4. There is a selection of food, burgers, wraps and pub dishes like chicken or beef with wine sauce.
