The White House

This is one of my favorite pubs in Guildford. Firstly because it is beside the River Wey, a small charming river. Then, because it is one of the few places that has a terrace outside and a small balcony above. I know, in England, it can only be used a few months a year, but it's nice to know that they're there. Pub prices are a bit more expensive than franchises, but it has much more charm too. The interior is neat, no old objects found in flea markets, old pictures or mirrors ... The owner is friendly and sometimes serves on the bar. As for food, we didn't get to try anything because we arrived at 5 pm on Sunday and could no longer eat! It's strange but in general the cuisine of the pubs opened only at noon, and British times, meaning you can get there at the latest at 1.30pm if you expect to eat.
