Tres Cruces

45km further east of the remote Paucartambo you come across Tres Cruces. It has spectacular views of the jungle and the great Amazon basin. The site is amazing all year round, but it becomes even more magical at dawn. A remarkable phenomenon occurs when the sun, distorting its image and becoming three suns, it's unreal! This unspeakable moment, becomes magical when the sun awakens the jungle. Suddenly the flapping of a flock of birds breaks the silence, the sound of a wild animal, singing endless amazing birds.
