    A charming village

    The tourism of Habitação Casa das Tílias was built in the 19th century, and officially placed under \ "Rural Tourism system ", since it is the most effective way to preserve its old characteristics. The European Community and the Portuguese Tourism Government recognized its historical value, supporting its restoration. It is in São Romão, a charming village in the region of Beira Alta, in the central part of Portugal, 45 km from Viseu, 65 km away from Guarda and about 100 km from the border with Spain.
