Ulm

Crossed by the Danube, Ulm is a charming city in southern Germany and the birthplace of Albert Einstein. Well known for its cathedral, an impressive building built between 1377 and 1545. Famous for its western tower of 161 m, the highest church tower in the world. Go to the top, from where you have a breathtaking view of the city. To go up: about 2 euros for students. Besides the cathedral, Ulm shows the remains of the city that was in the past. In the 15 century it was one of the richest in Europe, after the 30 Years War it was largely destroyed and reconstruction began. Strolling through the streets you will see the town hall with astronomical clock, the Ulmer Museum, located in two buildings of the 16 and 17 centuries, and the market square and other tourist attractions.
