Whale valley
Located in the Al-Fayoum Oasis in the Western Desert of Egypt, is this area, containing important whale fossils. These archaeological remains represent one of the main historical records showing the evolution of species: transforming land animal into an aquatic animal, the whales suffered. The Valley is situated in the desert and is spectacularly beautiful. As well as the giant whale skeletons, there is a desert with thousands of different colour shades and with very peculiar rock formations.
